Howdy! I'm Chrissey currently living in Seattle, Washington (originally from West Texas). Been quite an adjustment for me.
I'm married (for almost 12 years) and we have one adopted daughter who turned six in January. We're trying to adopt again.
We just bought our first home over the summer and I'm trying to do everything "right." I feel drawn and connected to the art of Feng Shui and absolutely LOVE the show!!!
I joined this discussion board to meet people and try to get some hints and ideas for working on my own home.
Hi! My name is Jeanette Keffer and I live in Ontario, Oregon. I am a personal coach and specialize in relationship coaching and women's issues. I also provide a technique similar to feng shui but predicted and adjusted through the chakras and energy of the physical body.
I am interested in getting to know others who are on paths of self-discovery.
Since I have been reading of the internet a bout feng shui and I beginning to understand more and more -but still need more to learn. I do want to have good energy and wonderful feeling by using the the right kind of energy that will allow me to go on ahead without a block. I thought about my bedroom that is the most important room to me because I felt pretty much chaos in that room. I am not calm at all. I hate to go to bed at night and I hate to get up in the morning. Especially, I dont sleep well there either. That why I accept to learn about fung shui that will help my life better.
Those of us who move to Hays often joke that we aren't "nowhere but you can see it from here." We worry here when the wind doesn't blow (which isn't often). Hays can be a wonderful place to race children as we are a big small town with a university.
When I first moved here, I tried to relocate my music therapy private paractice. Short version, it wasn't the right time and I was an unknown. So, I filled my time with part time work, redecorating and landscaping. I started a full time position at an assisted living and have greatly enjoyed to regular contact with people though I miss the opportunity to spend much time redecorating and landscaping our new house over the last year.
When I was able to watch "Fun Shui" on HGTV, I was taken by Stephanie's seemingly practical approach to something that had previously sounded like a whole bunch of rules. I am someday HGTV or some other network will continue this program as my work, home, and community life haven't afforded much time for Stephanie's classes.
I joined this discussion board in hope of increasing my understanding so I can apply more of these wonderful ideas as we work on making this house our home. Specifically, I hope to find some insights for our music/yoga room where in addition to having a practice space, I hope to occassionally see clients. I want it to be a space that works for the whole family (we are all musicians).
Hi. My name is Lynn and I currently live in Charleston, West Virginia. My husband and I recently bought a house and are in the process of renovating it (as time and money allows). I am a believer in feng shui and have read many books but the info I've read has proven to be complicated and contradictory. I want to learn about feng shui in simple and practical terms.
I would like to ask if any of you have received a consultation with Stephanie McWilliams and how has it affected your life? I am thinking of doing so.
Ah, two very good friends of mine are from Charleston as well. Good people!
I'd be more than happy to get you in touch with some of my clients... Perhaps one from West Virginia? Just let me know and I can get you in touch with some folks...
Would you like to email me at stephanie@evolvingarts.com so I can hook you up with my client originally from West Virginia... and tell you more about distance consults, fees, etc.
