The center of your home tends to be a place where you will find health-related challenges, rather than money -- although, like with life, one area affects the other, and so on...
Financial challenges can come from a variety of different areas, if looking solely at your home (you'll also want to do a thorough evaluation towards your relationship with money itself, the choices you make, where you choose to spend your money and all the beliefs that you've gathered about money, debt, or abundance - from childhood up through to today).
You'll first want to make sure that you've done a super-thorough cleaning. "Clean like God is coming!" my teacher likes to say...
Next, you'll want to see if you're holding onto objects that no longer serve you, or are being kept due to fear, lack or concern of scarcity.
The rest is best dealt with through a skilled practioner's observations. Rarely can we see our own financial blocks or structural challenges unless we've spent years and years tuning our attention toward that sort of energy.
My feng shui workbook will be coming out soon, and that might be a helpful resource to follow, step by step through your home and see what positive effects you can gain from these measures.
My "Broke No More" audio lecture from last year might also be a good starting place if you prefer audio.
Terrah Kathryn Collin's book "The Western Guide to Feng Shui" is a great starter resource as well, if budget is limiting your ability to do a virtual or live consultaion...
Hope this helps! Keep me posted on your progress... and feel free to post photos of your home so we can take a look at what's happening within your space, property, neighborhood, etc.
