Diana, were you on the "Broke...No More!" teleclass? Let me know... it might help with your question about your bathroom... Wealth energy shows up in every single object in your home, the flow of your home, the energy within your home, and then after all those things are taken into account, you can then make some augmentations to your wealth corner.

To find your wealth corner, first imagine looking at your home from the sky and look at it's footprint. Then imagine drawing a rectangle or square over your home that just encompasses every farthest edge, corner and part of your home within it's boundary.

Using this square, your wealth corner -- as you stand in the door frame of your home (although there are some exceptions to this... like with anything) -- is the very far left corner of your home (or room, or plot of land, or desk, etc.).

I'm going to be selling a document about how to plot your bagua map over your home soon, so this might be of interest to some of you...

Hope that's a bit of a help.

Love,

Stephanie

A question was emailed to me after our class last week. It was a great question, so I thought I'd share:

Dear Stephanie,
Thank you for resending everything. I enjoyed the lectures and learned a lot. There are a couple of questions I want to ask about selecting a house/condo:

1. Some Feng Shui practioners warn about buying foreclosures saying that it's risky to do so in that the space could support loss. Is this the case in your experience or research?

2. Should the house/condo face your best direction?

Here's my answer:

If it were me, a foreclosure should be blessed and space cleared THROUGHLY! (you'd need a pro for that very likely... and you have to be VERY selective about who you hire - there are lots of very talented people out there, but there are just as many who have great intentions, but do not have strong skills for healing. I would also want to look at the structure of the home to look for layouts that can lend itself more to poverty, illness, etc. Without seeing a layout or photos of a house that you're thinking of purchasing, it's almost impossible to articulate how to spot more detrimental home structures and energy. That's when you really want to bring in someone highly trained. Depending on where you live, I know 2 other people who I would trust with this task...

I personally don't worry which direction a home faces. I look for great use of natural sunlight & wind, great interior flow, upkeep, energy, etc. I think this is how the first feng shui started - building in correlation to nature so that you thrive. It's a personal choice to follow compass school. I think in this culture, unless you're building from scratch, it's tough to take this into account. I'm FAR FAR more inclined to build a home that takes advantage of sun and wind to make the home more earth friendly. Other than that, I rarely take directions into account. I also think that to get wrapped up in that level of detail or concern can easily get you off-track and miss the boat on far more important factors that need to be considered. As you'll hear me say many times, we humans LOVE rules! And we'll sink our teeth into them in a heartbeat. They make us feel like we're superficially in control. But feng shui is something far different than any sort of "rule"...

Just ask your higher power/The Universe/God to lead you to the home that has the learning opportunities that your spirit needs to grow. Embrace the synchronicities, support, intuition, etc. And if it comes to you to do so, hire a professional!

Oh boy! I am still still figure it out about how does that works when the above mention, "creating passive streams of income through creating community and encouraging others". I would be happy to hear if anyone can explain how does that work with an example so that I may finally understood with new light bulb.
Thanks with grace,
Marie

My house faces south but my front door is on the east. My bathroom lies in the NW corner. What do I consider my wealth area? I need help!
